I’ve never called myself an email marketer 📩mostly because I hate funnels.
That’s Ben Chestnut, founder of the $800m giant email company Mailchimp 🐵
That sent 333,635,013,935 emails the year before.
It’s interesting how these people who hate funnel don’t go after new leads. Instead, they go after existing customers. And they go for delighting them.
Like Moz, Slack, or Ahrefs provide tons of information and tools for free. They replace funnels with extreme value creation.
They constantly empower prospects & customers for free.
Because marketing is not just about promoting your product,
It’s also demonstrating your product is the best fit.
Be it Ahref’s Tim, who wants to provide a ton of information upfront or Mailchimp’s Ben who wants to empower customers for free, they aren’t interested in short-sighted conversions.
